| Discuss Energy Tips on page 1, then assign, in
groups or individually, the activities on page 2 and 3. |

| LESSON 2 --- Pages 4-12 |
| Discuss Dangers in an Oil Field on pages 7 and
8, the assign, in groups or individually, the activities on pages 6-9.
Color pages 10-11. Page 12 should be done as a group assignment so
that important safety concepts regarding oil/gas storage tanks can be better
understood. |

| Discuss emergency procedures on pages 13-16.
Read page 17 as an oral reading. Encourage signing of Safety Contract
on page 18 by the child and the parent. |
